Niemisen Valimo OY was founded in 1928. In 1999, the Finnish holding companies Componenta Oy and Ulefos Jernværk entered into a cooperation to found that which is known today as Ulefos NV AS.
The Finnish partner was bought out by the Cappelen Gruppen in 2007.

Niemisen Valimo manufacture cast iron products for the public sector and industry at the Harjavalta foundry. Main products are access covers and industrial subcontracting castings. All products are of high quality, precision made and ready to be installed. As a domestic supplier, we can guarantee flexible and fast delivery times.

- We consider the environmental aspects in all our operations. Our products are manufactured from environmentally friendly, recycled metal. We have valid ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality and environemtal certificates. These cover both manufacturing and sales.
The EN-124 –standard used for the access covers requires a third party inspection. The products are inspected by Det Norske Veritas.

A customer acquiring a domestic product, produced with the EN-124 -standard, can have peace of mind.
